Process Paper

This is the way I choose my topic. I have always been fascinated by our former president John Fitzgerald Kennedy. I also thought can I relate him to the National History Day theme and I can easily. I also had think about if information about him is scarce or plentiful and of course there is a lot of information on him. So it didn’t make me ponder at all it was actually quite easy.
First I went to a book store at a mall to get a biography about him. The one I choose was JFK Reckless Youth. For the rest of the day I read the book and finish all 1,000 pages in a day. I must say though the book had a lot of information on him that I didn’t know of. Next I went on the internet and Googled his Wikipedia page. I read the articles about him and was surprised to learn that I learned some more info. I went to couple of other sites like YouTube to watch and listen to his speeches. I learned quite a lot from YouTube about his political career. I went to the school library to read a few books about him surprisingly I didn’t learn anymore info then I already knew.
I choose to build my own website on the topic. It’s National History Day’s newest category. I choose it because I’m very good when it comes with electronics especially computers and the internet. I also choose it because I know how to design my own web site from scratch or off a web site like http://wordpress.com . I have also read a few books on web designing in the past and have actually made a couple of my own web sites. For the rest of the time I went to multiple went to multiple websites and studied there formatting. Next I had to think of what I wanted my background to be and what I want I wanted my font to be. Next I needed to decide what my URL was going to be. I’m still pondering on some things that are crucial to web sites like forums where people can discuss specific topics.
Last but not least how does my topic relate to the theme. My topic John Fitzgerald Kennedy former president glues to the theme. He was the youngest president elected to the white-house and second youngest president overall. He was also the first person practicing Roman Catholic to be elected president. He was also a former marine before his political career. He was awarded several medals for his bravery as a marine. They actually make G.I Joe figurine action figures of him and his ship. He made history in two ways as a marine and president. He’s a chapter in American History to say the least.
